About Our Founder and CEO

Jeremy Davis grew up on a family farm in eastern Iowa where he learned the values of hard work, determination to succeed and the power of a positive vision.

After earning both a B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Education along with an M.Ed. in Higher Education, Davis has resided in Ames where he previously served as an elected member of the Ames City Council. Additionally, Davis has served on the Board of Directors of the Ames Economic Development Commission as well as the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors.

Professionally, Davis has had experience in both the public and private sectors.  In 2019, Davis was appointed to a Senior Executive Service position with USDA as the Northern Cornbelt Regional Coordinator with the Farm Production and Conservation Mission Area. Through that role, Davis coordinated the priorities of the Farm Service Agency, the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Risk Management Agency in a multi-State Region of the upper Midwest.

Prior to his service at USDA, Davis was the Director of Grassroots with the National Pork Producers Council where he lead the organization’s grassroots advocacy efforts. Additionally, Davis directed the Pork Leadership Institute which educates pork producers annually on how to be effective advocates for both the pork industry and agriculture.

Before his role with NPPC, Davis previously worked for the U.S. House of Representatives as a district staff representative; the State of Iowa with the College Student Aid Commission as an Executive Officer where he served as the agency’s federal legislative liaison; and at Iowa State University while completing his graduate education.

In addition to his professional experience, Davis has also remained engaged in Iowa politics having most-recently been the Republican candidate for State of Iowa Treasurer in 2018, has also served in various leadership roles with the Story County GOP and also served as Professional Resource Team member with the 2012 and 2016 Republican National Conventions.

In 2021, Davis joined FarmLand Real Estate & Management, LC (now known as AGSERV), as a Partner. Today, AGSERV is a full-service professional Farm Management, Ag and Farm Real Estate and Crop Insurance agency with a mission to support the success of our farmers and land owners through custom tailored solutions.
